It’s sometimes amazing how quickly your can assemble and market ebooks. For starters, some entrepreneurs review their websites to see which pages are visited most frequently. How to Get and Use E-Mail Addresses for Viral Advertising

One effective tool that would ensure your e-business an array of possibilities and success, is Viral Marketing. For your goals to actually happen, you must focus on your plans. Do ample research before you purchase tools or programs. Even the little-est detail, can affect your overall success.

The first thing you want to be sure you don’t do is get over-zealous. The one thing you need to avoid at all costs is spamming. Spamming is still used widely, but with the government establishing more restrictions and fines you don’t want this to be a problem for you. The professional image of your site will also suffer if you send mail blatantly.

Spam is one easy work. To send a message to thousands of e-mail addresses, one can simply do this with just a click. There is a database that houses all these recipients, making it an express way of transferring information. First, spamming breaks some legal rules, that the government has made. Moreover, recipients can feel if a message is spam. The people of today are wired to ignore ads. Hence, your effort will only be put to waste.

Readers prefer sites that are personalized. People must be able to feel that they are safe, secured, and take care of. E-mail messages would be very vital in your marketing strategy, as it is very affordable and effective.

Permission, this would be the first thing that you should get from your recipients. Also, assure them that you would not be sharing their e-mail address to other marketeers. Then, you may already begin sending newsletters to their e-mail addresses.

For instance, send them digital discount coupons that are only given to member of your opt-in e-mail list. As you send them messages, you are making your business known to other people.

The Stupid Simple System And How It Will Make You A Winner In Internet Marketing

As you know, the world of Internet marketing is extremely complex. It seems like every day there is some new challenge that arises, whether it be the launch of a new social network or Google making a change in the way they rank websites or some new strategy that everyone is raging about. Quite frankly, it can be pretty daunting, even to those of us who have been around awhile. So how do we keep up to speed with the rapidly changing world of Internet marketing without going crazy and remaining competitive? The answer that I would submit to you is dual fold in nature.

The first is making sure you always continue to learn. If you are unable to keep an open mind about you marketing business, your ship will sink quick, fast and in a hurry. The online world is simply too fluid for you to ever stop learning. For example, if you have not integrated social networks into your marketing plan, you are missing a major paradigm shift in the way we affiliate marketers do business. You are also missing out on truckloads of profit.

The second thing you must have is a system that is adaptable and flexible but still solid enough to provide you with some structure to your campaigns. If you are constantly changing your business model or worse yet, if you do not even have a business model, you will not succeed in this game. That is all there is to it.

Anyhow, there is more to this point. Too much happening at the same time will kill profits. If there is too much chaos and insufficient organization, you will have to radically redesign how to run things. Intricate systems with weak structures will only bring you frustration – similar to attempting to memorize every law ever legislated.

In the end you MUST have these things in place: an organized, flexible business model and the openness to adapt your model to the changes that will inevitably creep up. If you are having an issue with any part of this, there are answers. Many people are using KK Maybel’s Stupid Simple System. The Stupid Simple System is the fastest and easiest way out there to make money on the internet. Many affiliates have found that the Stupid Simple System is the best solution out there to fix the problems they struggle with on a daily basis.

Strategies and Definitions of Video Search Optimization

According to the latest research, not only is online video the fastest growing media online, but is has now surpassed search as the most popular activity online. Online video views surpassed searches performed on the top 5 search engines, according to stats released by comScore and covered by ReelSEO in October 2008.

Because online video is so popular right now, it presents a unique opportunity for online marketers to leverage video content as an effective means for marketing brands, products, and services. Because online video marketing is in the nascent stages, there is much that is not well understood. For content producers as well as internet marketers, it is important to learn how to produce and publish video content in a way that users can easily discover your video content on the search engines. For this, one must learn and understand video search engine optimization, or SEO for video content.

To start off, let’s answer the simple question, “What is Video SEO, or SEO for Video?” Basically, it is the process of creating and publishing a video such that it is easily discovered, indexed, and ranked by search engines. When we talk about video SEO, there are really 2 distinct strategies and methods to consider.

First, there is what is known as “Posted” video SEO. With “posted” video optimization, the strategy is to get as many views to your video content as possible. To do this, you can take advantage of the massive audience that video sharing websites like YouTube, metacafe, blip.tv and others have. One other benefit to this strategy is that you can leverage the existing authority and page rank that these sites have in order to show up in Universal search on the major search engines.

With posted video SEO, it is important that you pay close attention to the keywords that you include in fields entered upon upload like the title, tags, descriptions, etc… We recommend utilizing tools and services that help you to automatically upload your videos to multiple video sharing sites at once. Although it is not impossible to do so, the major downfall with this strategy falls into place when your goal is purely to drive traffic back to your website.

In addition to “Posted” video search optimization, there are many techniques and strategies for “hosted” video SEO, or “website” video SEO. With this, the goal is to optimize video content that is placed on your own website. With universal search on the rise, it is possible to utilize video content to increase your own website’s chances of ranking in the major search engines as well as the video search engines. The main benefit in this strategy is that you can expose potential viewers to your other business assets, products and services.

To optimize video on your website, it is essential to follow common best practices when it some to general search engine optimization tactics for websites. Additionally, because search engines have a difficult time interpreting video content, you want to include relevant on-page text with your video pages to help search engines understand what the video is about. While there are many tips and techniques for website video SEO, the following tips are essential to keep in mind:

1) Make sure that the page with your video on it includes a good amount of relevant on-page text to guide the search engines. Include your keywords in your meta tags, URL string, descriptions, etc…

2) Consider publishing a transcript or captions for your video.

3) Publish all your videos within the same directory or subdomain and keep each video on its own unique URL.

4) Publish a video sitemap or MRSS feed to help guide the search engines to your video content.

5) Let users share and link to your video in order to increase the off-page linking to your video pages.

Whether your strategy is to drive visits to your video or to your website in general, video SEO is an effective way to leverage the power of online video. Website Marketing: What You Should Know Before Getting Started (Part 2)

Part 2 of 4. Your IP address is like a street address, while your domain name is the name of your business as displayed on a sign. Sometimes you may own the entire building at a given street address. In this case, if a customer travels to your address then they’ll find your business in its own standalone structure. You may also share the same building with other businesses, in which case your address will specify a suite or office number.

This is a critical point to keep in mind, because many businesses think that they need an entire server when this often isn’t the case. Whether your address is in a standalone building or a shared office matters little to you or your customers, as long as the available resources are sufficient. Also, just as renting office space often makes more sense than does buying an entire building, so shared hosting is often a better and less expensive choice.

Each website consists of many distinct webpages, each written in a language called HTML. Written to be accessed via web browsers and displayed on computer screens, webpages use hypertext links to connect to other pages or content.

As such, any business’s first step into online marketing, regardless of type or age, is to build its website. Many businesses make the mistake of selecting a domain name first. This places you at a disadvantage, however, as search engines typically rank pages higher if their main keyword is in the domain name. For instance, our business involving ?SEO? and ?web design? sports the domain name ?AceSEOWebDesign.com.? This helps improve the relevance of search results, as search engines are smart enough to know that a site called ?cars.com? won’t be selling many boats.

Furthermore, specialization is better than generalization. For example, say you own a flower shop called “Harriet’s Flower Shop”. “Flower shop” is a competitive search term because there are many flower shops. However, if you really love a specific flower, say orchids, then focusing your site on orchids would be better. Then, after you have established yourself as an expert to your customers about orchids, you can sell other types of flowers to them.

While some degree of specialization can be a good thing, it can easily be overdone. For instance, while focusing on orchids may make sense, selling pink orchids is likely too narrow. If considering this strategy, try to find the fine line between a useful focus that boosts market share, and a narrow specialization that costs you business.

And just to reinforce this strategy, let’s answer one question a lot of people ask: if having your keyword in the domain name is important then why do Google and eBay have their domain names? Well, eBay actually used to be “Auctions.com” when it started. And in Google’s case, as well as Twitter and Facebook, they are pioneers and their names became synonymous with what they do. If you think “online search”, Google comes to mind. Think “social network” and Facebook comes to mind.

It is also possible to point multiple domains at a single website, though there are several points to keep in mind when adopting this practice. One of our clients, an insurance agent in Jacksonville Florida named Matt Moss, wanted us to build a website reachable at ?MossInsurance.com.? We felt that there were three problems with this domain name.

– Having his last name in the domain made it more difficult to sell later should he choose to do so. In most instances, having ?moss? in the domain name would be seen as a negative. Be sure to check out Parts 1, 3 and 4.

Website Marketing: What You Might Want To Understand Before Starting (Part 3)

Part 3 of 4. — “Insurance” is simply too broad and the competition is too fierce. If you’re not on the first two pages for a search term, you’ll receive hardly any traffic. And 9 out of the top 10 companies for “insurance” are billion dollar companies. So, you’ll never break into the top 50 spots let alone the top 10.

– Just as with our flower shop example above, Matt could benefit by specializing. There are many types of insurance: home, car, life, etc. Unless he sells every type, it makes little sense to use such a generic term. Even if he does sell many types of insurance, it makes more sense to create a unique site customized for each type than it does to lump them all together.

Upon sharing our concerns, Matt decided to specialize in car, home and boat insurance. While this was a great first step, even these terms are quite competitive, so the next phase in Matt’s web marketing strategy was finding the right terms to help get him noticed.

Our research led us to three terms that had very little competition and, as such, would garner more notice for Matt’s business. These were “homeowners insurance,” “classic car insurance” and “yacht insurance.” While your first impulse may be to believe that businesses and terms with no competition are most desirable, unless you are a pioneer in your field, no competition also means no demand.

Of those three, Matt chose “homeowners insurance” because he knew it best and plans on having us build sites about the others in the future. Another thing to understand about this choice is this: once he builds trust with his clients and sells them the homeowners insurance, he can then sell them car or boat insurance. But had he gone after “insurance” then he’d have never gotten them in the first place. Conversely, had he chosen “yacht insurance”, it’d be safe to assume that 99% of those yacht owners own at least one home.

Also, while the internet is global, most of Matt’s business will be relatively local. It would make little sense for someone in Oregon to do business with him, for instance. As such, we registered the domain named “Florida-homeowners-insurance-choices.com.” While this name is great for search engines, it is difficult to remember and even worse for printing on business cards. To that end, we also registered “MossHomeownersInsurance.com” and pointed it at his main domain name. As such, Matt has the best of both worlds for his website marketing strategy: a search engine optimized domain as well as one that is easy to remember and say.

The main point: Do not register your domain name first! Let us do the research first!

The second biggest mistake made by many businesses is in purchasing web hosting before they know what their needs are. Hosting environments are quite different, offering a vast array of environments and features. In nine out of ten instances, the environment you choose will meet your needs. However, in the remaining instance, a wrong choice can waste your valuable time and money.

Furthermore, we have found one system that’s simply the best way to conduct business online: Site Build It (SBI). Basically, SBI is a hosting system plus much more. For the price of typical hosting, SBI provides a Website with dozens of built-in, automated tools that practically assure that your success. Frankly, SBI is the right choice for about 95% of all of our clients and because SBI actually takes care of registering your domain name and setting up your hosting, it’s another reason that you should not do it yourself. Be sure to checks Parts 1, 2 and 4.

Website Marketing: What You Ought To Know Before Getting Started (Part 4)

Part 4 of 4. Once you’ve designed your website, chosen an appropriate domain name and selected a web host that meets your needs, you then put the website in place on the host. When everything is in place and linked together, customers can enter your business’s domain name into their address bar and learn all about what your business has to offer. This, broadly speaking, is how a website marketing strategy works.

When a customer does this, they view your site’s pages, images and other multimedia content in their browsers. This content, stored on the web hosting company’s computers, is delivered up via the web servers which they run and maintain on your behalf.

More often than not, the customer views your site in a commonly available browser such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera, but other ?user agents? are also becoming more common. By interconnecting pages locally and worldwide using hyperlinks, many of which include domain names, customers can ?surf the web,? easily connecting to sites across the globe.

With such a vast wealth of information from which to choose, finding a specific site can be a challenge. You can of course type a domain name into the address bar, but this helps little if you aren’t sure which domain to type. You may also wish to find websites on a specific topic rather than navigating to them individually by name.

This problem is addressed by search engines, of which Google, Yahoo! And Bing (formerly MSN Live) are the most influential. This popularity inspires many webmasters to make them key players in their website marketing campaigns, and inclusion in all of these generates a great deal of free traffic.

Additionally, you should consider how you can use email to market your Website and business. Email is “a store and forward method of composing, sending, storing, and receiving messages over electronic communication systems. Email predates the Internet [and was] a crucial tool in creating the Internet.”

Marketers have adopted email into their website marketing strategies because the cost to send is zero. As such, it is easy to inexpensively connect with many current or potential clients. In addition, auto responder systems can be had for only a few dollars per month, and represent a great way of conveying commonly requested information to customers without the need for human intervention. Such regular, targeted contact is a great way of maintaining customer mindshare in situations where your business might otherwise be forgotten.

Maintaining mindshare is important for your business’s success. For example, our free weekly newsletter (be sure to sign up if you haven’t already!) is sent out to many current and potential clients. When anyone is seeking a web design or SEM company, our readers are more likely to recommend us to others, as ours is a name they trust. While 40% of our traffic comes from the three major search engines listed above, the remaining 60% comes from links, recommendations or readers forwarding our newsletter on to others. Be sure to check out Parts 1-3.
